i was more so going for letting nospin chars take spin shortcuts to lessen the softlock chance when i thought of the shield ability as i got inazuma stuck on a long journey's end Teleporter 15
since the shield ability is separating from spin: pity shield allowing aerial recurl and roll for nospins
and another extension to gfz1
and mayber wall gravity for some really confusing mk8 esque design shenanigans
