It's safe to say a lot of our questions are going to be answered when the mod comes out, regardless of how big or small our questions may be.
We've asked enough questions, and we can't think of anymore.
Only theorize.

dark sonic comes from fake emeralds but i don't wanna get off topic so: How do you think exploration levels will play with him, ik he's obviously not made for that but that's why im asking, i mean certain abilities could be useful.

All of his abilities would be useful:

#1 @BlueBlur has said his base jump will be higher than vanilla sonic.

#2 Vertical WallRunning.

#3 The "RingBurst" Is borderline just flying with extra steps.
(Side note: I also wouldn't be surprised if the ring burst can also break (Breakable)Walls, Including Knuckles exclusive ones.)

#4 And also the "Zip-dash superJump". doesn't have a name to my knowledge but is shown in the trailer.

#5 And the "Snap-dive" can make is easier to bounce of enemies if you jump off a high ledge.

#6 The Combat move though will most likely be the least useful.
(Another Side note: I Wonder if the "Sonic-kick" will be able to break (Breakable)Walls too?)

I hope the kick can do that
 
I think dark sonic would most likely be an easter egg of some sorts. However i doubt it would have anything to do with finding fake emeralds around the map or something. Also, where blue blur? He does make weekly updates right? Last week he did but ever since then it's been.. well, silent. I hope he's alright.

He is most likely just busy. With work and/or life.

(Or the really unlikely possibility of the mod almost being done so hes not posting on these forums. That's what my adhd brain wants me to think out of excitement for the mod though :threat:.)

Regardless he will be back at some point.
We all just gotta be patient in the mean time.

Plus I think he hinted at not answering questions for a while, but maybe I read his message wrong.

I also wonder what those sprites are that blue blur said he still had to work on are?
In the trailer it looks finished to me. At least the things that were shown anyway.

Sorry for making you all read an essay but this does give me a little practice.

Edit: I also should mention that he has been active on twitter recently by liking posts. (nothing X-sonic related though.)
And also have been looking at these forms for the past few days. just not posting anything here.

Well I'd say probably Super Sonic. We only saw him transform and use Ring Burst I think. I forgot. but overall thats about it.

I asked @BlueBlur about this, and he said: "If there is it's gonna be very basic BM support. Or I can get another one of my friends to help me with a moveset."
Look at the trailer you can find the comment there.

His base moveset though will be broken. (In a good way)

battle mod? boy, imagine SMS' big ass nuke attack when he plummets down, you being able to freaking PARRY it. somebody needs to try it sometime (unless XS' parry doesn't work like that at all, maybe i'm thinking a little crazy here lol)
 
I only feel okay saying this since BlueBlur mentioned it himself in the SRB2CS publically, but he mentioned that all that was left for X Sonic was bug fixing and Dark Sonic. So yes, Dark Sonic is gonna be in the mod. He also mentioned that "he feels complete but isn't", and that if he wanted to he could release him right now.

He said this in January, but he said it wouldn't be that month, but MAYBE this month or March

This ain't a release date drop from an outside source tho, this is all maybe's, so who knows.

That's great to hear officaily that dark sonic is going to be in the mod. (Even though I knew it was going to be in.)

Great to hear that he is trying to pour all the passion he can into the mod, Even if it could be released now if he wanted to. I'd rather wait until he feels its ready to play, than play an husk of what the full polished product would be.

I Doubt that it will release this or next month. I know we all want it to.
But that's HIGHLY Unrealistic. I'd say around may. But I'm not good with predicting time.
Its done when its done.

All I know is that my brains happy receptors or going to be overloaded when this mod comes out!

@BlueBlur &Crew If you see this I hope the best of luck to you and the team. Thank you for making a childHood dream come to life.



Another Note: We should try to refrain from talking about release times/dates.
