Whether or not the map is designed with OpenGL in mind, it is recommended that the level is at least playable with the Software renderer (that means optimization will still be needed regardless). You should also keep in mind that various effects like fog, water refraction, and portals do not work properly with OpenGL at the moment, so if you need to have such effects, you will need to find another way to emulate it.
I decided to leave this type of bridges for now, since they are easier to make and they have no problems with optimization and texture bugs. I'm also trying to make a stone in 3d
Finally, I managed to change the height of the jump, this will allow me to bring the style of the map closer to the classics. By the way, 2d doesn't look bad either.
I liked the design of the tiles from the video inserts in the game sonic origins, I drew the first version, I want to add volume and bulges to the tiles.
Bridges have been my headache since the very beginning of the project, they take a lot of time to realize the idea, I am also engaged in redrawing rings, I want to add an iridescent shine to them. It took a lot of time to rearrange the tracks to create a perspective effect (I'll post it later)

The other day I found suitable batniks for my level, can you imagine how cool it will be to see them here

new classic monitor, proportions changed (based on sonic generations)
I am not sure that I will finish this beam with spikes, at the moment it is an ordinary animation of the image from the front and back, even if I manage to add damage, it will still not be visible spikes on the sides if you turn the camera 90 degrees
